Anyone knows the part part Number for Fuel Filter

I have a 2002 Winnebago Journey M with a 275HP Cummings Turbo Diesel ISB 5.9 Engine - been looking on the Internet for the part number to replace my fuel filter, I do not seem to be able to find it. Found some Filters in Ebay for 2002 RAM 2500 Pickup Truck with the same Engineer although I not sure what I should be buying any help will be much appreciated!
  • 2nd question the location of the first obvious filter is back of the rig in plain sight is there another fuel filter how do I find out the location of 1st filter is hiden somewhere? 2002 Winnebago journey with Cummings diesel isb 5.9 took a picture he5re it us I still can find this number online fleetguard fuel filter fs-1268
  • Your chassis maker is the one who speced and installed the fuel filter(s).

Yes, they even decide whether to use one or two.

The engine manufacturer just tells them to what micron rating the fuel must be filtered. Yes, they can use a filter from your engine manufacturer, or they could use something else (like one by Racor).

So, check with them with your VIN for the correct information.
  • Some ISB's only had one spin on filter. Does your's have the WIF sensor? FG 19519 is one I have used. ALWAYS ensure you use the o ring or rubber gasket that comes with the filter on the fuel intake . Dirty fuel can flush by the intake with out the gasket and take out your injector pump sooner or later.
  • On my 2000 HR Ambassador with the ISB, my fuel filter part numbers are:
    Primary - Fleetguard FS1000
    Secondary - Fleetguard FS19519

  • Thank you for the reply will take it out and will look for the number.

    Thanks again for the advice
  • Can you see the filter? They usually have the PN in large print printed on them if they're Fleetguard.
    BTW, It's "Cummins".
