Anyone live in Louisville, Ky.

Hello,

I am looking to move to Louisville and wondering what the laws about parking your RV on your own property (back yard) have to say.
Any info would be appreciated as it will help in our house hunt requirements. Thanks

  • If you live in the city limits of Louisville, which now takes in all of the unincorporated portion of the county, You can store your RV,unless it's in a deed restricted subdivision. However there are about 60 5th and 6th class cities in Jefferson County and the each have there own rules. I store mine elsewhere since I live on a small city lot.
  • These laws a governed by the county, city or township and finaly by the subdivision you live in. It is a good idea to research this on the subdivision level bucause they may have other restrisions you don't like and attend the meetings because they can change the rules.
