Anyone remove their ladder completely?
The ladder on the back of my class C is unsafe - one vertical pipe has a pretty bad bend to it, one step is broken, and it is kind of shaky. I suspect the previous owner backed into something with it...

You can purchase the parts that are bent, take the ladder down and have a muffler shop try to straighten it out with the muffler bender, you never know when you need to go up and fix something on the road, a broken skylight or fridge cap, there are a lot of reasons for keeping the ladder, it also helps to have it when you want to trade in or sell.
When re-installing take two or three wood matches, cut the head off and place them in the holes and then install the ladder with the screws and the sealer
the matches help fill the hole so that the screws have a bite again.
