I think around the rv world, those WITHOUT tpms is the minority. The cost of one tpms system will be less than the damage one blown tire can cause, not to mention the cost of the tire. Tpms will not help you with a catastrophic blowout, say from defective tire or a road hazard, but if the tire picks up a nail and starts leaking, the tpms will notify you when the pressure gets to or lower than the pressure you have determined to be the lowest point you want to run your tires. This will provide you with more than sufficent time to pull over and save the tire from going flat and eventually coming apart in a million pieces.
We have a Pressure Pro system for all eight tires on the mh and the four tires on the toad. It has saved me several times in the past six or seven years.
