I missed the apology part...
I thought it was obvious and it was for not completely reading all of the long list of rules and as a result, the gross violation of one, which now and according to them will cost every camper an extra sum of money to make up for it. So, I did the only gracious thing, other than offering them more money and just left. Meanwhile, I had some concerns about my new tires and after finding that re-bar sticking up a good 1 1/2". They obviously don't inspect the sites before renting them out and must wonder how anxious they might have been to replace a damaged tire, if that had been the case, or maybe that it written somewhere in a long list of disclaimers.
