I'm sure your apology is accepted by the community. Personally, I feel like no apology is necessary... and I bet many others feel the same way. :D

The issue may have been beaten like a dead horse, but that horse lives on and many of us will feed our carrots to other horses. ;)

I've closed and deleted more threads in the last week than the rest of my stint as a moderator. Got some of the nastiest PMs ever. Very divisive.

Rex, honor your promise not to discuss politics on this site.

I guess some folks on here just don't like the rules. Things have gotten very nasty in the last 6 months.

It is not just that some folks do not like the rules..
Some people (Me for example) Believe Politics IS important. In fact I believe it is a matter of life and death important. But that said I will attempt not to make political statements beyond what I just typed.. And I won't defend that one.

But when the owner of the forum (THe forum and CW have the same owners) makes a statement...

Of course he did not make it here in the forum. and having listened to the interview I have to say that his words were.. Modified somewhat.

But then I have experience with that kind of thing..

No, wa8, it is that some won't follow the rules. It's not your forum or my forum. We are guests...licensees...pledged to not discuss politics. To knowingly violate the agreement is dishonest. Want to my polictical views? Ok...but not here.

You are doing a great job, if it does not apply to motor homes & motor homeing (sp), keep deleting it. If I wan to read that trash I will go to CNN or Fox News

Been wondering that one all week, but then I also wonder when the last time was he signed into the forum?

While I agree with you, this isn't the place for that discussion.

I am a moderator on another forum as well and politics aren't welcomed there either.

Nothing against them, it just seems every time a thread turns to politics it turns ugly. That is something we do not want.

If he made it in the forum I moderate, then, yes. Absolutely. No question.

What people don't seem to understand is that Marcus has nothing to do with this forum. If he showed up here, we'd all be amazed.
