Reading the rules is one of the first things I do after arriving at my assigned site.
Knowing, agreeing to, and obeying the rules prevents me from inadvertently disturbing the neighbors / management, and it also gives me a clear sense of what I can expect from my neighbors / management.
Darn it.....I wish I was more eloquent in my writing, If I was, I would have written what Escargot posted!
