It looks like all the OP's complaints were addressed on their web site. A little research could have saved you posting this needless thread. I don't get it :h. If they didn't enforce them I could agree.
We understand rules as well as anybody and just trying to be real here after years of traveling throughout all of the lower 48 states, so we do have something to compare their policies to and how they do things. Now, having said that, I did apologize for this terrible violation of the rules and posted publicly, so that someone else might not make the same mistake or choose to by-pass this CG all together, so the choice is theirs. Also, keep in mind that the only thing I did wrong, was not allowing my guest to drive his own car in and paying big time for a 1 1/2 hour visit and after dark, at that. Still wouldn't be so bad, if they hadn't wrote so much******on the note they left on my car.
Being real is reading "their" policy which you didn't. Comparing them to some other campground? Is there some rule stating that campgrounds need to honor other campgrounds rules just so they don't confuse some people?
If you really meant to apologize to "them" you wouldn't have posted it here. You could have done it while you were there. But it's really not a apology is it ;)?
From the rules that are clearly on there web site they could send you packing at any violation. But your complaining they were nice enough to leave you a note. Did you go up and pay?
There are three types of campers.
1: those who know the rules ( and likes rules) and obey's them.
2: those that know or don't know the rules (but should) and don't care either way because they won't obey them.
3: those that boondock so they can do what they want.
Maybe number 3 would be a good choice??
