In my opinion, it's not so much the rules as the manner in which management enforces the rules and treats the people who pay good money to stay at the campground. I have no problem with complying with rules, even if they are a little unusual or overly strict, but when the management is unpleasant, I will write off a park and never return. I've never stayed at this park, and based on what I have read, never will, but it's clear they have too much business and can therefore afford to be nasty to the tenants.
Agreed. It is often not WHAT was said, but HOW it was said. This may have been the case here. Management insulted the camper, and that is never good.
So management insulted the camper, huh. The way I read it, management caught said camper sneaking in a non-paying visitor after hours. Management made camper aware of the transgression. Camper fled said campground instead of "manning up" and paying the small amount of money due because of the transgression. Is that insulting to camper? If so, catching a thief in the act of stealing, must be insulting to the thief. :h
Are we reading the same thread here? :h
