The AquaHot system is a very good system. Ours has serviced us well over the years. Several recommendations: 1. The tank in the compartment is never 'full'. It's an expansion tank that fluctuates. To be full, look for the mark on the tank itself. Full in never full to the top. There should be no screws in the tank. Sounds like a 'redneck fix' for a leak. Replace the tank. Also the AH system should be serviced regularly. Easiest way to check is to fire it up and check the exhaust. A proper running system should not emit excessive smoke and/or smell. The key word there is excessive. AH recommends new nozzle every year. My AH technician recommends service every two years, but he's serviced mine since it was new. He replaces the nozzle, checks the interior and also checks the fuel pressure. If you're tech does not know or have the tools to check the fuel pressure, get another technician. It's simply a boiler system that's diesel fired. BOL on your purchase. If you do buy it, I'd insist on a 2 year extended warranty, paid for by the dealer...Dennis
