You stated you had a "certified Aqua Hot tech" work on your unit. Can you explain that????? Aqua Hot units are NOT that hard to diagnosis. They can be a pickle to replace certain parts. But, ANYONE that shows up at FMCA events and claims to be Certified for anything should be able to diagnosis and either tell you what needs to be done or FIX it at that time. What does it take to be a "certified Aqua Hot tech"???? I work on them and have for over 15 years, but I am NOT certified by Aqua hot. On NEW units, you should never have to mess with the mixing valve. IF you have to mess with a mixing valve it needs replaced especially under warranty. They are preset and require NO adjustment as long as all other parameters of the Aqua Hot are to spec. Some things that will cause your problem on new units
1. Incorrect on incorrect mix of the antifreeze solution. This is critical for heat transfer in the boiler. Using straight non mixed Antifreeze will cause your type problem. It MUST be a 50/50 mixture.
2. On 120, you will NOT have continuous Hot Water if you have the single element. Aqua Hot with Dual 120 elements will provide continuous hot water. You MUST use the Diesel burner to provide continuous Hot Water on single element units, but that is not your problem as you stated you tried the Diesel Burner also
3. You have changed the tstat, but there are limit switches also and the fact that this so called tech could not diagnosis and fix your problem after he changed the tstat makes me wonder if he DID change the tstat or he installed the wrong tstat. Doug
