The tank in my new-to-me Empress holds 100 gallons totally empty. For a maximum outlay of eight bucks I couldn't be bothered hassling over the difference, especially if the pricier pump is faster. It's still a bargain compared to what I pay at home :E
In doing my research on this matter I found a report about revenue generated by this tax. In that report (I forget the exact number now) but there was something like 79 commercial fueling locations in the entire State of Arizona. Most of those were in the Phoenix and Tucson area and the rest were along the interstates. So assuming this tax really did apply to motorhomes (and we're confident now it doesn't) that means there are only 79 fueling locations in the entire state where you could purchase fuel for your motorhome. Now that may not be an issue for people who stay on the Interstates, or who are just passing through, but for residents of AZ or snowbirds spending extensive time there it could be an issue. So it's a little more than just the 8 cents a gallon.
