On my Monaco coach, ONE of the pump switches happens to be right next to the toilet. The other switch is in the kitchen so it is very easy to turn on the pump when you need water. The pump itself is located in my insulated wet basement compartment. Your pump must be very loud if it would wake up your spouse while running. My pump is very quiet altho it can be heard. The toilet itself, also makes some noise, as it is flushing, whether on shore water or pump water. The additional noise from the pump running is very minor.
