Audio Video Installation--Where to get it done

I live in NW Florida and we are new owners of a 2007 Fleetwood Revolution LE. Very nice rig, unfortunately the previous owners gutted some of the A/V equipment. I'd like to upgrade the A/V lack of package it has but am at a loss to find a place that does professional installation for an RV. Can you help me?

  • Ed. I have a 2007 Fleetwood Revolution LE 40E and have done some renovation to the Audio/Video components. If you let me know what is missing and what you are wanting to do I will try my best to assist if you can do it yourself, it's not difficult.

  • Ed, I am considering the purchase of a 2007 Revolution LE. What has your (or anyone else's) experience been with your Fleetwood Rev coach? It certainly looks like a beautiful piece of work in the pictures online. The coach is located in KY and I'm in Ocean City, MD so I will have to fly in to pick it up. It has the Cat C9 engine, 42K miles & the Allison transmission. There seem to be those on this forum who favor Cummins over Allison so I would appreciate info and real world experiences from present owners on the drive train and engine, too. Thanks so much.

Most any mobile RV tech can do it.. Provided you can figure out how to mount it the install is straight forward.. I've replaced most of my A/V gear in my RV..

THe trick... For me... Was getting the RIGHT SIZE for the main TV. I kind of got lucky there and got one that fit... Perfectly.
  • Since this type of work requires extreme caution so as not to damage the interior of the RV I would do the work myself. If you're not up for that find a friend who can help and has skills. No way I'd let the local Best Buy into the RV.
  • Best Buy works on RVs...can't vouch for their enthusiasm and/or expertise but I know they do the work....Dennis
  • many people here have done their own

unless you relocating everything, all the outlets, cable etc
will be in the same location

and its all about 'cabinet/wood working'

almost any custom cabinet shop, can do new doors, mounts, etc..

or talk to a an A/V shop that does custom home installs

    a place that does 'marine/yacht' work ?
  • you don't have any vehicle stereo shop shops around you. Have you tried Google. Since I do not see where you live , sort of hard for location

Thanks. I actually looked into them and they are retiring, or have already retired, and relocating to North Carolina. :(
