Auto gen start install

Yosemite Sam, it would work on a portable if it was electric start and had connections for a remote start kit. You would need from 2 to 5 control wires from the Magnum AGS to the portable generator. I've hooked up some Hondas but not anything else portable wise.

Thanks for the clarification. After I posted this I did more research and found that the ME-AGS-S is the standalone version. The one I posted would work if I bought their inverter that would go with and all the other little sensors. And yes maint goes along way with how an auto system would work!

Only one I've ever done so can't answer the question. Like I said, it my RV was factory pre-wired which helped a lot.
