A mobile tech could also do it.Is he really sure the transfer switch is bad? Or maybe something else. Has he verified with a meter?What are his symptoms?

Give Tiffin parts a call at 256-356-0261, ext 5. You can also temporarily bypass the transfer switch with a terminal strip similar to this one. A multi-meter should be used to verify that power is not getting across the transfer switch before doing anything however - a discolored wire is not proof of that, especially on a coach of that age.
