Average gas mileage on C class
We now have a 32' fifth wheel. We get 10 miles pulling. Thinking of downsizing to C class (about 30'). Hoping to get at least 10 miles to gallon. Have any suggestions? Mema

30ft. Cambria, E-450 chassis. I have been recording fuel vs. miles for the past 3500 miles. It averages out to 8.5 over that mile span. Various conditions, individual trips vary.
Pulled my 08 JK to Vegas and back and got 8.5 going there. it was the maiden voyage and stayed at 60mph. Haven't fueled up since I returned. I switched from gooseneck
toy hauler to Class C. My Duramax got 10 mpg sometimes better with the loaded trailer, jeep inside, 70 gallons of water. Plus a Polaris quad weighing in at 700 pounds.
With the fluctuating price of fuel it's hard to gauge cost. Rent a nice one for a weekend, take a trip and see for yourself.
