awning let down lever stuck/frozen in down position

Just got our Class C motorhome from winter storage. Our awning "let down lever" is frozen in the "pull awning down" position and I do mean FROZEN/STUCK...any idea how to get it to so we can pull our a...

Well that stinks j-d!

Ours doesn't bind, it was just not wanting to switch back to unroll. As I recall, it was when we first got it. I was half way into a rollup and stopped, then tried to pull it back down before I flipped the switch. It was not happy with me. It took some effort, but it finally let go.
