  • 2007 should have the control box. There are 2 wires at the control box that go directly to the awning motor. You hot wire those 2 wires and operate the awning in and out. IF the awning stops and then resumes after a short wait, the motor is bad and needs replaced. IF the awning motor operates without stopping by hot wiring, then there is a problem with the control board or the 12 volt supply to the control board. Doug
  • Sounds like it "amps out". I think it moves either way until it gets to the end of its travel, stops when aerate goes up and stops it. If the awning foe some reason binds up the power draw (amps) will stop it. If you have a corroded connection some where the amps can be higher thereby hitting the max amps and stopping. I had the same problem for five years. Finally found a bad splice in the wire to the motor.
  • It sounds like your automatic circuit breaker is tripping. They get old and weak. Find and replace.
