B+ Cab-Over Insulation
While replacing the old heavy TV above my B+ cab, I was surprised to find the fiberglas insulation in the cabover consisted of a single batt barely glued to the wall. That explained why that area never seemed to warm up on cool days.
Before installing our new flat screen TV, I took the coach to a spray foam insulation company where they did a thorough job of covering the inside of the entire cabover with pink foam. They actually had one of their smaller employees crawl inside thru the TV opening and do the spraying.
It cost $200 and was well worth it. Not only did things get warmer, but the cab is now noticeably quieter on the road. It feels like the foam added some solidity to the enclosure. I recommend it.
