I am pretty sure I want to do this project, esp now that you've made it so easy. Like you, we use a small elec heater/fan instead of the propane furnace. Works fine in this little RV down to 30 deg, or so. On coll nights when no AC is needed, we like just running its fan for background sound (fantastic fan can make it too cool).
I do urge you to pursue vid tutorials -- you have all the right stuff to make helpful vids.
