The new bed is excellent! Temporarily I am using a foam mattress that is too long, and so is jammed upward at the front corner. It shows me that you could have a longer bed, albeit with the corner of the mattress clipped to fit. Maybe as long as 77", although the passenger seat could not recline.
And I mean a longer mattress on top of a 69-70" box. No need to make the box longer.
