My side flanks to the floor each have 3 bottons across the top, and 4 going down.
So if I only remove the top 3 on each side the C trim easily comes off to get at these wires?
Could I try and work thru the dome light? If so, how do you remove it as I saw no screws.

believe it or not the sunvisors are the only 'screwed in' object holding the headliner. There's a plug that you have to pry out to unscrew them. The center 'brackets' that the center peg of the sunvisor snaps into is one of these 'push in' things that has wings to hold it in place. I don't remember the details, tho' I expect my method was "play with it till it comes out". With some probing and pulling, the headliner will then come down on your head, since it only rests on the sides and there is NO trim holding it above the windshield. I guess that's what the dark band across the window is for!! :E
You will then be clear to drill screws thru the top. If do research, you will find that many BT Cruiser owners had similar problems, including the cap squeaking against the cab, hence the screws.
