Snow, I bet the towel was to stop the cap to cab roof squeak Cheeze is talking about. If this squeak is like a bird chirping, then I have it too, and will need to put some type of screws or bolts in.
Cheeze, what did the squeak sound like? Whatm where and how many screws(bolts) did you drill?
Snow. you said you heard no squeaks even w/o towel - never anything like the chirping and or styrafoam rubbing?
I was thinking the squeaks resulted from the wood cabinetry rubbing against the vinyl coach ceiling material that was left in place when screwing cabinets to ceiling.
Me and Martha might get brave, or I might ask a friend if he feels up to it.
