Thanks Dennis, If you search the thread for 'U-shaped dinette" you may find another design idea. Tho' taking apart the jackknife sofa was not as bad as it seems, everyone has their own comfort level. Way back in the thread, after we took delivery of our 213, we had a water leak issue which existed when we got the RV.(brand new). I always had a 'bone to pick' with the dinette and original rug because of that problem. The dinette structure absorbed a lot of that water, and the panels had irreparable damage and had unsightly watermarks. Once we became seasoned rv'ers and valued bathroom access over sleeping acreage, I did lots of mental planning, using the Born Free "Built for Two" as inspiration. The eventual mod resolved some storage issues and comfort was enhanced tremendously. Whatever you do, if you need input, we are all here!! ;)
