Welcome to the small group of Trail Lite motorhome owners. You are number 117 on my list of forum members who at one time have admitted to owning one. We also think it is one of those best kept secrets. Our's has been fun to own with no major problem and we bought ours new. The unit is the right size for that Chevy. We usually take the slow lane and cruise about 5-10 mph below the limit. With that we have an overall mpg average of 12.1 miles per gallon.

You mention you have a leak behind the drivers seat. Does your floorplan look like this? -

I am just guessing that your fresh water tank is under the couch behind the drivers seat. It could very well be that you have a leak in that area. The one piece fiberglass cap that fits over the one piece fiberglass side makes a rain water leak hard to hide. You should be able to see the cracked fiberglass. Also that rubber roof wraps over the side walls about 4" making it tough for rain water to leak upward (anti-gravity) inside your motorhome.

You might try creating your own pressure test. I have always planned on taking my leaf blower and setting it up so it takes outdoor air and blows it inside the RV through a window. All you need is to create a slight pressure difference between the outside and the inside. Then use a windex type bottle filled with soapy water and spritz it on possible cracks and look for soap bubbles. :)
