quietjake - One of the problems we as owners of RV's have is we do not put on enough miles before the tires have weathered and aged. Our 2002 tires were carefully driven for 9 years with 39,180 miles. The unit is parked indoors whenever we are not on the road. The "General" tire sidewalls still looked new and I estimated still had about 4/32" of tread left. However, the age issue convinced me to spend $1,049.25 to replace 6 of them on September 21, 2011.
