How about...miles per bushel of coal? MPB(C)?
I was considering tackling the fuel pump swap (hence the courage - or - stupidity!) Still might be better spending the extra $$$ for a shop to do it. (Pump ~ $200, labor estimated $800+ does makes me ponder though)
