So far, so good. I'll try to get some pictures of the wiring.
A 2000 W sine wave inverter is now mounted inside the cab by the sofa front passenger side close to the batteries.

The battery mod I had done in early 2013 was similar, however the my service company took the old battery tray, extended it with a welded plate and put two additional angle supports to the top of the frame rail. I added two 5/8" threaded rods and a 1.5" x 1.5" x .125" angle to give additional support from the floor above at the far edge of the extended tray. I spread the support area out with large plate washers above and below the floor, all assembled with 5/8" nyloc nuts. I have 2 6v AGM batteries on the tray.
