I have my father's bottle jack (if I understand this term - it is shaped like a bottle and you insert a 10 pipe handle and ratchet the top up hydraulically). It is a NAPA Fleet made in Racine,WI and it says it has a range from 8" to 18" )I think) and a capacity of probably 3 tons (the number is scratched and may say 8). If 3 tons, that sounds adequate to lift one side of the dually, which I guess is about 1.5 tons.
Where are the lift points for the front and the rear wheels? If using a floor jack like cheeze1, are the lift points the same?
Cheeze1, do you store your water hose in the compartment? I have had water from the hose make me think there was a leak.
Dan, I often wondered why you posted the thread in CVC, but it makes sense to me to view the B+ as a functionality classifier and not a reference to chassis type, but I can see all the issues related to the classification thing.
