Dan, I had a check engine problem when I was in Ashville on my 6.0. Since there was only about 4000 miles on it, I hoped it was just a 'code glitch' or something similar. I went to the closest Chevy dealer, and they had a guy check it. Seems like it was fairly common, they reset the 'whatever' and everything has been fine since. Dunno about the limp home tho'.
As for which forum this thread was in, I think you made a good choice because so many B+ owners are tourers rather than long time location campers. Either way, the Class C people are REAL NICE, while the B's, which I had a big fight with a couple of years ago, exclude anything but a B at their gatherings.
Burl, I do store my 'cleanup hose' in that compartment, but I've never used it, it's in a bag, and it was dry when I put it there, since it was a long unused hose hanging in my garage. Lift points: I only used the floor jack at school. Now I would be using the bottle jack. I always default to the axles for lift points.
