Just finished my install of the inverter. Finally settled on under the jack-knife sofa mounted against the outside wall. Doesn't interfere with the operation of sofa turning into bed and back far enough so no storage space lost. Had to drill two holes thru floor, one for cables to battery and another for 30 amp cord to run back to shore power compartment (big hole needed to get that plug head thru!). This way whole house is active (of course that's only 5 outlets). I have two group 27 batteries in parallel. I flattened out the lip on the battery tray and added a steel plate to accommodate the second battery. As mentioned earlier, we'll mostly use inverter for a late movie and a microwave popcorn at night after generator hours. We rarely spend more than a couple nights in one spot, so should be able to recharge on the go. Now on to the next project--installing a PD 9245C converter. :E
