Cheeze1, I would like to be rid of that heavy squeaky 24" TV set...how difficult is it to remove?
I think a laptop with a DVD and a TV tuner either built-in or as an external USB peripheral would be miserly on elec. Another peripheral to the laptop could be an external LCD computer monitor nearly as large as the 24" TV set mounted as a hinged cabinet door to the storage space now where the old set was.
