silverglass - How heavy of a drop cord are you using for your shore power test? Low voltage will cause the A/C to act "not normal". Also, check your thermostat, mine is a little flimsy or something on the fan switch part. Have had to jostle it to get the furnace fan to work properly. Never a major problem, but always worth checking.
