Don't forget, A/C units are no where as expensive as refrigerators, Depending on how long a Tech has to investigate and diagnose and then repair, you can use up the price of a new unit from Camping world + installation and end up with a 4 year old unit. Look for the sales and especially low cost installation deals. I believe their is a Camping world about 100 miles west of you. New A/C's are currently available for just over $600 installed. Might be worth a call on their 800 # and see what they would be willing to do and then ask your local dealer to match their price. Most shops are getting $75 to $90 per hour and that seems to include time to shoot the bull and smoke. Just a thought.
