We just returned from this summer's trek (49 days, 4300 miles) -- our third big trip in our Trail-Lite 251. Once again, it performed great for us. Ours is on a Chevy chassis with 8.1 liter engine (no longer available I understand) and we tow a Cavalier. The whole rig handles as nice as my mini-van. We now have over 27,000 miles on the rig in 3 years.
Two little mods that I made were to add a plastic chest and a sewer hose storage tube (the one on the T-L is too short)on the back bumper. I keep my maintenance "stuff" here, and it frees up some storage space in the side compartments.
