I ran into the same problem with my 251 on the sewer hose. I cut off the end of the existing plastic holder, added a 14" section of 4" PVC pipe from Home depot and used PVC glue to secure a cap on the end. I also added a hanger screwed to the floor bottom, to help carry the weight through the bumpy bits. Works great and now holds a 10 foot hose with both ends on the hose ready for use.
