Karebear, I hear a lot of talk about Optima batteries and Interstate, as far as quality. I don't store mine. I make sure it's well charged when I bring it back to the storage yard and then use the cutoff switch. I had one low cell this time out.
ChasOK, I just looked at my storage unit. It's less than 2' deep. Unfortunately, there is not enough room for another 2' or so, since the suspension would get in the way. I think a custom made undermount unit would be good for the new hose and attachments.
I will look further into the solution next time I bring the RV home to reinstall the awning. Now that we have camped in the summer, it makes sense. I will be researching a more secure method for attaching the brackets, especially the 2 lower ones, since one of them came off in my hand once I slightly loosened
one lag screw.
Dunno if this has been mentioned, but those Mr. Clean 'magic eraser' things are great for getting bug 'stuff' and other things off the RV after a trip!!
