Took a 550 mile trip this past week-end over interstate, two lane blacktop roads, and some rougher two lane concrete. The new bilstein shocks seemed to ever so slightly improve the ride. I guess the old shocks were still giving a good ride. It was hard to compare rides before and after. I do not regret putting them on, however. I think they may have kept the front from doing the second dive after going over a speed bump. I replaced my front shocks as my right front tire showed a start of "cupping". Price was not that bad - $180 installed. There were two different model numbers - one for a Chevy Express van and one for a Chevy Van motorhome.
jeanniewes - I believe you are on the right track if you want to shelter your B+. When we had our Class A, I merely threw a parachute (light weight) over the top and tied down with ropes. I wanted to keep dust, snow, twigs, hard rain etc. from the top of the unit. Well that didn't turn out very well the tie downs rubbed the sides enough to scuff the paint. Then we bought one of those complete covers that hang down the sides to the ground. Covered the unit very well, but what a scarry operation to put on and take off. I had to walk on the roof - the same place as I was covering or removing. Now we park our unit in a covered unheated building - much nicer.
