birdbybird - You must be some person to wade through all the rambling pages. There are as many different motorhomes as there are types of RV'rs. We can agree with you 100% on "just a little shorter and little narrower" makes the difference. We both enjoy driving ours and have never hesitated not going somewhere because the unit would be too big or clumsy. Only two things have stopped us - drive through (bank and fast food) and parking garage ramps. Do try to sit in both a Chevy and a Ford powered unit. Both perform very well, but we thought the Chevy had a better cab layout.
