Hi,
here are some opinions that may help those deciding on purchase of a B+. My 2003 Trailite 211 with a 5.7 litre Chevy has served my wife, myself and our Labrador very well. Easy to manoeuvre and park in most places. Comfortable to drive with good visibility and just enough space if not much over 6 ft tall. Quality is fair for the price but needs some glueing and screwing of woodwork. Battery position under vehicle is terrible for maintenance. Needs a roof fan for good ventilation. Only repairs have been a new valve stem [ drove 12 miles with only 3 of the rear dual wheels inflated ] and a toilet vent broken when clearing ice from the roof. The following data are from driving at about 65 mph [ 110 km/hr ] with 64 psi in the tyres and sometimes with 1/3 tank of fresh water and occasional generator useage. Never needed to top up the oil.
Perimeter of States and Vancouver to Ottawa, 12,526 miles, January to April 2006, 11.91 mpg [ 14.30 miles per Canadian gallon ]
From near Ottawa to Okefenokee Swamp in Georgia, 3,711 miles February to March 2007, 11.84 mpg [ 14.21 miles per Canadian gallon ]
