You notice that the "navigator" doesn't use a kennel! I trust the Golden... With four dogs, I feel safer with most of them traveling in crates....two of them are used to it anyway from dog show travels! I especially like knowing that they are safe in crates when I take them out to potty (usually two at a time). I have nightmares about the possibility that one would accidentally get out without a leash at a rest area or other unsafe road situation.
