Goldencrazy - Thanks for sharing your modifications, very professional looking. My tasks have been much simpler. One of the screws holding the framed valance to the wall came loose. Took some fine steel wool, rolled a small wad between my thumb and finger in the shape of the end of a sharpened lead pencil. Stuffed that in the hole and ran a screw into the steel wool packed hole, seemed to hold real tight.
My next project was to remove the 20" analog television and replace with a 20" digital. Wasn't as bad as I had expected. Now to see if the base for the digital will hold up after traveling on bumpy roads. Managed to remove a plastic covering over the metal base and bolted it to a false floor I inserted in the TV cavity. I have already learned, I do not like the switch to digital only broadcast. Moved the RV to three different locations and had to do the 5-10 minute scan each time to find the available stations.
