Herschel is a cute dog. I've always been a bit afraid of big dogs untill the past few years. Probably because I got bit by a big dog? You think? ughhhh
Anyway I'm glad your dogs seem too travel well. Our neighbor talked us into taking their full blooded Jack Russell. They had named her 'Betty-boop' and so we left the name. She was not even a year old yet and we didnt want too confuse her. SHE rides very well. She loves it. Our Ellie (half Jack and half Beagle) doesnt ride well AT ALL. IF I hold her she does ok but as you know that is probably not a good idea. I do hold her for short rides. I have a car seat I put her in BUT she slobbers, she pants hard, she throws up. She is now over 2 years old and the scenerio is the same. I think riding actually scares her too death. I know she's not car sick because if you stop and offer her food she will eat. She only throws up, I think, because she works herself up into a frinzy...ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ... I so wish there was something I could do for her for she is the very best dog I've ever had. She is so obedient, such a good good dog where as Betty is quite a hand full and very loud. That is WHY we do not take her many places. She stays with the people who gave her too us. Our Ellie goes EVERYWHERE we go but then as I said I MUST hold her or she freaks out... ANY SUGGESTIONS?
We love our motorhome. It is much much much more peaceful, quiet and fun than any motel I've ever been in~!!!
