lol funny you mentioned the vet. We DID ask the Vet. He said she would get over it. ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh but she did not. Her line of vision is no different. The car seat is in the passengers seat when I am driving. She looks out the window, looks at me, slobbers, hyperventilates etc. :( ..... We even went too Petco and purchased an 'anxiety cream substance' that is suppose too taste like Peanut butter and she is suppose too like it and it help calm her. weeeeeeeeeeeeeeel so much for THAT. As a last resort..LAST resort we may have too give her a small amount of benadryl liquid when we go on long trips. I can't be holding her like 6 too 8 hours. It is even dangerous holding her one or two hours and I know that. On longer trips I have gone too the back, set on the sofa and held her and YES she does ok that way too. Not feeling the comfort of my arms is when she seems so scared. I call her my little scardie dog... lol ... I so wished she traveled well like our Betty-boop. She mostly just looks around or sleeps... lol
Anyway when my husband saw your dog in the front seat of your motorhome he, like me, was smiling. Your dog seems too love riding. Even when we just start up an automobile too move? Betty=boop runs up and jumps in. Ellie? She runs the other way... ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
