Yes Gene, it is, and that's a great idea. However what I've decided to do now is to install a battery cutoff switch. I looked online and there are a couple of styles, 1 with a round knob, (including one where you can take the knob off and it can't be reconnected without it) and the knife switch kind. I forget which terminals are on my battery, so I guess I will have to look at it first. Luckily the dealer's parts shop is around the corner. Dunno how long to run the engine to get it charged up again, tho' I guess I should take it for an hour ride. Since it's in a locked lot, I should not need to worry about the alarm being active at that location. I don't see anyway to avoid a battery drain from the alarm.:?
