If you can crank it by jumping the solenoid. But NO spark,,,check the voltage from the start switch. Sounds like no voltage to ignition circuit?
Do you have enough fuel in the tank? It's probably got a low fuel circuit. Think it needs a 1/4 or better in the tank to run the Genny.
