B with drop down bed?

My wife and I are looking at upgrading our truck and TC. So figure with upgrading both, was a good time to look at options. We love to explore the back roads while traveling during the day and then finding a place to sleep at night. This rules out As, Cs, B+s, TT, and FW but does leave the B and TC.

The biggest thing we don't like about the B is having to make the bed up each night. Realize to some it doesn't take long, but just one of the things we don't want to do. But I was wondering, does any of the Bs have a drop down bed so you could simply raise it during the day to use the dinette and drop down to use it at night?

  • We have a Pleasureway XL with the electric sofa bed in the back. It only takes a few minutes to fold our
bedding and move the bed to the upright position. Plus many times we just leave it down and use the front table by the front seats. We have had many campers ect. but we love our B class, drivability and parking. We had a truck camper and find we have more room in the B.
  • We had the same wish and almost bought a used Safari Trek because of the drop down bed. But it was still too big to travel the way we wanted to. We have similar goals as you except a B wasn't big enough. After looking at just about everything available we ultimately gave up on the separate bed and bought a Pleasure Way Pursuit. Making the bed turned out to be a small sacrifice for all the other advantages of a slighter bigger RV. We take it everywhere and can park it just about anywhere.
