Back Up Alarm Quit

If your backup light is functional, I'd just let that alarm stay broken.

Along the same lines: I have a porch light on Both sides of my coach. Why Winnebago built it that way I'll never know. The light on the drivers side of my coach is burnt out. I aim to keep it that way. Why bother my neighbors on that side motorhome?

That is the reason the DW stands behind the coach anytime I am backing up.

I don't like the sound either. I replaced mine the day after I realized it was not working.

I would worry about backing over a kid, and the prosecuting attorney having proof from the internet that you knew safety equipment that might have saved a life was faulty and didn't bother to maintain it.

My opinion is to spend the $10 and make it right.

I appreciate the humor and I need more of it .. Same here. Don't back up much either. And... I don't like noise either. Too many years with 105 Howitzers going off in my ears ! Thanks for the input.

Thanks for being good natured about it - it was not a personal attack and was meant in good humor. I've just had a couple of recent encounters and found them unnecessary. On the flip side, on my "stuff" I like it to be "right" so I can relate from that perspective.

But about the only time I back up is when backing into a space - otherwise there is a toad back there and I can't back up.
