- John_S_Explorer IIDon't do it. Simple. They will catch you. A trailer or RV will stick out and the go around is easy.
- Blaster_ManExplorerWouldn't do it...been that way many times.
- Bill_SatelliteExplorer IIIt used to be OK to go through if you stopped, shut off the tank and had it tagged. Not sure if they still do that but it's well worth the minimal effort if it's still an option.
- buta4ExplorerJust before the tunnel the State Police are standing to wave off campers and such onto a small exit road. Check your license etc. Then direct you to the Key Bridge.
Done it-been there. - lryrob9301ExplorerThe Baltimore Tunnels are now 100% propane restricted. They will catch you quite easily since you have to go through the toll lanes just before or after the tunnels. The fine for going through the tunnels with propane is $500.
- RoadAbodeExplorerKey Bridge. Plus, I like the view better.

That's enough incentive for me to take the bridge. :) - jerseyjimExplorerBaltimore bypass...either east or west....both bring you right back to I-95. I THINK the bridge is a toll...but the other way, no tolls, but maybe a bit more traffic. Either way...no problem
- OutdoorPhotograExplorerAnd everything is on cameras these days - not that I'm advocating trying it without cameras.
- docnascarExplorerThere are signs going into the tunnel for no propane. You can't have more than 10lbs.

I would avoid it. You take a risk of getting a ticket. Take the key bridge (695).
